Programme Manager
At Nesta Challenges, Maddy is a Programme Manager working across a range of UK-based and international projects.
Maddy is responsible for the Longitude Explorer Prize which encourages 11 to 16-year-olds to develop their entrepreneurial spirit through creating technology for social good. Maddy also works on the Million Cool Roofs Challenge, a $2 million global challenge to accelerate access to affordable, sustainable cooling in residential homes.
Before joining Nesta Challenges, Maddy worked at The Prince's Trust, predominantly within Programme Development focused on youth unemployment. Maddy was responsible for developing a range of employability programmes to support young people getting into employment. This included long-term secondment to Adelaide to set up the delivery of The Prince’s Trust programmes for unemployed and underemployed young people to be rolled out across Australia.
