Strategic Partnerships Lead, Mission Discovery
Louis is the foresight engagement lead within Nesta’s Mission Discovery, which aims to create a link between Nesta’s current portfolio and our pipeline of future work.
Louis looks at how emerging technology shapes and is shaped by some of the biggest challenges we face today.
He previously explored the environmental impact of the internet for Nesta's NGI Forward project, and before that he campaigned for policies to make science and technology more diverse and inclusive. He set up the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Diversity and Inclusion in STEM, and explored the relationships that people from diverse backgrounds have with science and technology. He has also conducted research into job automation, fracking, and the views of young people on the climate crisis.
He loathes writing about himself in the third person, and when not at work, he can be found taste-testing vegan cheeses, visiting a nuclear power station, or walking a section of the London LOOP.
