Layla is Operations Manager for the Innovation Growth Lab (IGL) .

IGL is a global collaboration of governments, foundations and researchers led by Nesta that develops and tests different approaches to support innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth. Layla is responsible for having a handle on the bigger picture and overseeing the day-to-day work of IGL to ensure the team runs smoothly, effectively and sustainably. 

Layla joined Nesta in 2011, working initially in the Creative Economy team and then the Innovation Skills team which provided content, learning experiences and strategic support to improve and embed innovation skills. Prior to working at Nesta Layla previously managed a project supporting adults with learning disabilities by providing learning and social opportunities.
