Nesta is an innovation foundation. For us, innovation means turning bold ideas into reality and changing lives for the better. We use our expertise, skills and funding in areas where there are big challenges facing society.
Festival Manager - FutureFest
Josh joined Nesta to produce FutureFest, our festival of innovation and future ideas. FutureFest gathers some of the planet’s most radical thinkers, makers and performers together to create an immersive experience of what the world might feel like in the next few decades. Josh had the task of overseeing all of the content and managing the stakeholders who contribute to the planning, curating and delivering FutureFest.
For the past decade, Josh has worked as an event producer, curator, production and project manager, and consultant. His work has taken him to four continents, two Olympic Games, a multitude of cultural and academic institutions, festivals, showcases and tours. He specializes in bringing together artists, brands, partners and venues to produce innovative creative projects and performances.
Josh is the Co-Founder of Relative Motion, a London-based theatre company. He is also a faculty member at Year Here, a postgraduate leadership programme. Josh enjoys yoga, cycling, attending live music and theatre shows, playing four musical instruments, and writing.
