Programme Manager
Ian was the Programme Manager for the Digital Innovation Fund for the Arts in Wales, our joint programme with Arts Council of Wales.
Before working on the Digital Innovation Fund for the Arts in Wales Ian was a freelance consultant and producer specialising in supporting and delivering digital projects.
He has worked in the funding, funded and commercial parts of the cultural sector, including senior roles at Arts Council England. This has given him a broad overview of policy, governance, organisational change and delivery. He has experience in developing strategic partnerships with organisations and evaluating large and complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Recent consultancy clients include Watershed (capital development and sustainability), Bristol Festivals (ticketing, data and CMS) Circumstance (touring and digital development) and Bristol Old Vic (producing and presentation) alongside ambitious projects including Mass Crane Dance Bristol.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
