Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.
Intern, Digital and Social Health
Hamdah was a Digital and Social Health intern in the Health Lab working on project support, event planning and internal and external communications for the team.
Hamdah recently graduated from the University of Sheffield studying Health and Human Sciences.
Prior to joining Nesta, Hamdah worked in digital marketing for a HEFCE funded research project exploring widening participation and attainment gaps for BME students in academia.
Hamdah is passionate about policy work, having previously worked in a research and consulting role for the Ministry of Justice working on mental health services and contracting in national UK prisons last summer.
Hamdah has been active both at University and in her local community in Sheffield; volunteering with women’s charities and working on outreach programmes. Having a keen interest for global health and international development, Hamdah is planning to volunteer abroad next year. In her spare time, Hamdah enjoys exploring London and travelling.
