Deputy General Counsel, Legal Team
Emer joined Nesta's legal team in 2017 and became Deputy General Counsel in December 2023.
Emer supports Nesta and its subsidiaries (including the Behavioural Insights Team) with everything from strategic and governance matters to company law and investments. She also oversees charity and regulatory compliance, data protection and intellectual property issues and establishes, negotiates and maintains effective contractual arrangements.
Before this, Emer worked in private practice specialising in commercial law.
Outside of Nesta, Emer enjoys yoga, painting and photography.
