Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.
Intern, Rethinking Parks
Ella worked on our Rethinking Parks programme, in the Innovation Lab. She looked at how the parks community share and learn information, and how best to communicate the findings from the programme.
Ella is a Product Design graduate from Central Saint Martins, UAL. Before joining Nesta, she worked with the University’s Widening Participation team, promoting their annual ‘Art Matters’ Exhibition and teaching Art and Design in schools.
Whilst studying last year, she ran a weekly arts and craft group for older people with Age UK. She is continuing her voluntary work with Magic Me, an intergenerational arts organisation that runs cocktail parties in care homes. She is also a member of Good Gym Lambeth running group, doing good whilst getting fit.
You can find Ella tweeting about new ideas, solving problems and the occasional design reference @AgonyAuntElla
