Her focus is twofold: making low-carbon heating financially accessible for households and lowering the barriers for engineers moving into the green heating sector.

She holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, specializing in Urban Sustainable Environments. Before joining Nesta, she was at the Grantham Institute in their education team working on embedding sustainability education across Imperial. Disha also leads a climate literacy and green skills projects for local schools. In her spare time, she is a zine-maker and an avid baker.
