Overview

We are seeking a creative and commercially minded marketing officer for our central London co-working space and event venue. You’ll be joining at an incredibly exciting time, as we relaunch our venue brand with a stunning new space. Working closely with the General Manager, Venue and sales team, you’ll be responsible for delivering effective marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, increase memberships and generate room hire revenue.

The role

  • Work with the deputy director of venue and the sales manager to help create a marketing plan for both our coworking space and our event venue.
  • Independently implement the agreed marketing plans, showing entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness to maximise the agreed marketing budget.
  • Track, analyse and report on the performance of all marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Along with the sales team, create and maintain a customer database.
  • Review the brands’ existing marketing channels and explore ways to improve reach and efficiency.
  • Plan and create engaging digital content for use across multiple channels.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events.
  • Act as the brand guardian for both the co-working space and the event venue, ensuring that all content adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Work with the sales team to develop marketing collateral, including print and digital advertising materials, creative content and editorial, ensuring consistency with both brands’ visual and verbal identities.
  • Develop content to support the sales team, ensuring consistency with both brands’ visual and verbal identities.
  • Maintain our websites, ensuring content is kept up to date. Spotting and suggesting areas of improvement.
  • Identify and research opportunities for industry networking for the whole team.

The person

  • You have experience working in a B2B marketing role, ideally within the UK events, hospitality, or venues sector.
  • You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • You have experience in using a CRM and growing a customer database.
  • You have demonstrable experience in planning and executing social media calendars, maximising content across multiple platforms and formats.
  • You have an understanding of how to use marketing tactics like organic and paid social media to drive brand recognition and generate revenue.
  • You know how to use generative AI to maximise efficiency.
  • You can use graphic design tools like Canva and Adobe suite for content creation.
  • You are a creative thinker with a can-do attitude and a drive to try innovative new approaches.

What we offer

Salary: circa £37,400 plus target-based bonus scheme. We also offer an array of benefits, including private medical insurance, dental insurance, the ability to buy and sell annual leave, eyecare vouchers and more.

Location: This role is based in London, Blackfriars.

Term: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (plus additional hours when required for events). During the initial setup phase, the role is expected to be office-based four days a week. Once this phase is complete, you will have more flexibility, with a minimum expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.
