In Futurescoping

At the end of 2011 we put together a collection of predictions for the year ahead marking something of a Christmas tradition here at Nesta.

The predictions spanned the tech, retail and entertainment industries as well as business and the public sector.

We went on to publish a new set of predictions for 2013, and we’ll soon be publishing our thoughts on what will be big in 2014. Below are the original predictions we set out for 2012.

A year after publishing, we revisited them looking out what we got right and where we were off the mark.

We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
