Interventions that support families during the early years have the power to transform children’s lives. Evidence-based parenting interventions are proven to boost children’s long-term prospects — improving educational outcomes, employment opportunities and overall health.
However, despite this potential, scaling these interventions across the UK remains a challenge. At a time when progress on closing the school readiness gap has stalled, this is an important moment to share our knowledge on barriers and opportunities for delivering effective parenting interventions at scale.
