After careful consideration, Nesta has taken the decision to postpone the Nesta Sparks session on Innovation Mapping. We’ll be keeping the situation under constant review and of course contacting our attendees, speakers and partners over the coming days to let them know. Our team have been actively exploring ways in which to bring our events to our audiences digitally and we hope to be able to reschedule some of our events very soon. If you have registered already registered for this event, we’ll be getting in touch and refunding your ticket very shortly. In the meantime, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us on [email protected].

What is the event?

This Nesta Sparks event focuses on innovation mapping. Innovation mapping uses new data sources, data science methods and visualisation tools to help policymakers navigate complex innovation systems, helping answer questions such as: “Where is innovation happening? Who is doing it? What do we do about it?” with unprecedented levels of precision and timeliness.

What is Nesta Sparks?

As part of our Insight event series, Nesta Sparks share Nesta’s practical knowledge around different ways to innovate. Each of the 14 Nesta Sparks sessions focus on a different method, whether it’s crowdfunding, challenge prizes, standards of evidence, or public and social innovation labs.

Who is it for and why should I come?

This event on innovation mapping offers you the opportunity to come together with other practitioners and experts to share knowledge and perspectives and to learn from Nesta’s work.

You’ll hear Nesta staff in conversation with other practitioners about how these innovation approaches are being used in practice, and you’ll have the chance to network and ask further questions.

Tickets are available at £7, which includes a light lunch and refreshments.
