To tackle problems entrenched in our societies, we need more social innovation at scale. We know it’s possible. Many social innovations have become part of our daily lives – think pre-school education, first aid, e-petitions.

On 15 July we launched our new report Making it big: strategies for scaling up social innovation, which looks at the different routes social innovators can take to scale. The report breaks down the different elements of a scaling strategy and looks at the dilemmas that social innovators face – like finding the right organisational form, deciding what model to scale up and balancing quality and reach.

Participants at this event received a copy of Making it big and had the chance to discuss scaling strategies with others working at the coalface to grow social innovations.
