The IGL Research Meeting gathered leading researchers from around the world to discuss academic research that uses randomised controlled trials to improve our understanding of the drivers of innovation, entrepreneurship and growth, and what works in encouraging them.

Participants included:

  • Christian Catalini, Assistant Professor, MIT Sloan School of Management
  • Karim Lakhani, Associate Professor and Principal Investigator, Crowd Innovation Lab and NASA Tournament Lab, Harvard Business School
  • David McKenzie, Lead Economist, World Bank
  • John Van Reenen, Professor, London School of Economics, and Director of the Centre for Economic Performance

The format of the meeting was an academic workshop. The papers presented were selected by the IGL Research Meeting Organising Committee and the IGL Scientific Committee through an open call for abstracts.
