Nesta Impact Investment’s strategy is to manage existing portfolio and fund investments, which may include follow-on funding subject to internal approvals; applications for investment from NEW prospective investee companies are no longer accepted. Where Nesta Impact Investments  evaluates a need for further investment in an existing portfolio company, our main responsibility is to Nesta, Nesta Trust, NIM and/or the Fund (as applicable). Nesta Impact Investments does not provide an advisory service to investee companies or their management teams and any recipient of investment will not receive the protections afforded to clients of NIM under the Financial Conduct Authority regime. It is essential that both the management team and the investee company obtain independent professional advice on the merits of any transaction that Nesta Impact Investment proposes, and its suitability for them. For the avoidance of doubt, Nesta Impact Investments is not engaging in designated investment business, such as corporate finance advisory services, with management of the investee company or any other third party. 
3. Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, Nesta Impact Investments does not enter into contracts via email or any transmissions made through this website. 
4. Nesta Impact Investments recognises the sensitivity of the information which management and the investee company provide, and takes care in handling confidential matters. However, to make progress with a proposed transaction, we may need to make information available to other prospective participants such as other existing and/or potential investors, banks and other interested parties. Nesta Impact Investments will do this as it judges appropriate to permit proper discussion relating to the proposed transaction, and as may be appropriate in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and regulations. 
5. Where you provide any information to Nesta Impact Investments, you consent to us using that information for the purpose for which it was requested. You confirm that such information is accurate, your own original work and/or you have the right to make it available to us for the requested purpose; it is not defamatory; discriminatory; offensive or obscene; and it does not infringe any law or the rights of any third party. 7. The Nesta Impact Investments 1 Limited Partnership is an unauthorised alternative investment fund (“AIF”) managed by NIM. This product does not use a UK sustainable investment label. The fund, which has no retail customers, is in the final stages of wind-down and activity is limited to seeking exit opportunities for a small number of remaining investments. The fund is neither marketed or open to new investors. Given the near-liquidation status of the fund, and following disclosure to LP investors prior to the product naming and marketing rules taking effect, the Manager has taken a proportionate and outcomes based approach and will not update pre-contractual disclosures to use a label or to apply naming and marketing rules.
