Sophie is the Head of Operations for Challenge Works.

She ensures the financial, legal and people aspects of Challenge Works run smoothly to support our innovation challenge programmes, working closely with Nesta's corporate services.

Before joining Nesta, Sophie led the operations of an older person's charity and a start-up college where she secured, designed and relocated students and staff into two new permanent college buildings in London and Manchester. Sophie moved into the non-profit sector through the On Purpose Associate Programme and prior to that worked at Deloitte as a management consultant.

Outside of work, Sophie loves outdoor fitness, walking her dog in the countryside and travelling whenever she can.
