Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.
Analyst, fairer start mission
Simran joins Nesta as an analyst for the fairer start mission.
Simran joins Nesta's a fairer start mission from What Works for Early Intervention and Children's Social Care (formerly the Early Intervention Foundation). There, she conducted research on what works to support families experiencing parental conflict as well as how local authorities provide support to minority ethnic families.
Prior to this, Simran worked as a research assistant on longitudinal and cross-sectional research projects within developmental and educational psychology. She also spent some time working as a primary school teacher in her home country.
Outside of work, she enjoys watercolour painting, board games and long walks in nature.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
