Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.
Senior Programme Manager
Sarah was a Senior Programme Manager.
Sarah worked as a Senior Programme Manager, currently working on both the CareerTech Challenge Fund and Mapping Career Causeways, programmes aiming to improve future career prospects for precarious workers.
Having worked at Nesta from 2017, Sarah worked primarily on our Government Innovation People Power and Rethinking Parks funds, supporting innovators to develop their approaches to help governments and communities reimagine public services and improve people’s lives.
With over 17 years of experience in the charity sector, Sarah has worked in London and across Greater Manchester in a variety of roles, from producing live online broadcasts with young people in Old Trafford (at Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council) to setting up a small charitable foundation, and giving grants to organisations in east London with the musician Ben Drew (at EOTO).
An avid volunteer, Sarah also mentored young people at risk of offending, visited vulnerable older people while running with Good Gym and provided phone support to women experiencing a breast cancer diagnosis for Breast Cancer Now.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
