Ruth was a Senior Programme Manager at Nesta working on the Mobilising Communities project.
Prior to working at Nesta, Ruth was Senior Business Development Manager at national advocacy charity VoiceAbility.
She has worked in the voluntary sector for 10 years in various organisations, particularly advocacy and mental health. She started her career in the Civil Service, working in the Department for Transport and the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit.
Ruth has a degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a masters in Contemporary British History from Queen Mary, University of London. She is currently studying part-time for an MBA at Cranfield University.
