Rachel managed the Ed Tech Innovation Fund, part of a partnership with the Department for Education to support schools and colleges to make better use of technology.
Rachel previously worked on the Future News Fund, delivering a pilot innovation fund to support public interest news. She also designed an impact framework for the Amplified Programme, for cultural and creative organisations seeking to develop digital ideas that generate social impact.
Prior to Nesta, Rachel has worked in a number of social impact organisations delivering programmes on the arts, mental health and migration.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
