About Nesta

Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.

Rachel oversees and supports the rapid prototyping, development, and delivery/maintenance of digital tools and products across the Nesta group.

Before Nesta, she developed new products for varied audiences through to scale to drive growth and revenue diversification at Macmillan Cancer Support. Before this, she maximized portfolios of growing and mature fundraising products through continuous improvement.

She also worked as a marketer at BBC Radio 3, where she developed the customer-centric perspective that propelled her towards product development and management.

Rachel studied music at Goldsmiths, University of London, with a specific focus on vocal performance and the characterisation of women in Romantic Italian opera.

Outside of work, she enjoys singing with a choir, sewing, yoga and getting out in nature. She also advocates for a holistic approach to cancer care in young people, informed by her own experience.
