Programme Manager
Rachael was the Programme Manager for Arts & Culture Finance.
Rachael worked across initiatives such as the Arts Impact Fund, Creativity, Culture & Capital and investment support programmes. Prior to this, Rachael worked on the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts, a £7 million programme aiming to explore the potential of technology to reach new audiences and develop new business models for the arts and culture. She also managed the Digital Arts and Culture Accelerator pilot, focusing on accelerator methods applied to arts organisations to scale commercial ideas.
Before joining Nesta in 2015, Rachael was a Project Manager at an arts consultancy. Her background is arts management in contemporary visual arts projects, organising exhibitions and national touring shows, and managing commissions, prizes and awards. Rachael has worked with a variety of clients and stakeholders including Arts Council England, Southbank Centre, Jerwood Charitable Foundation, Natural History Museum and Forestry Commission England, as well as private collectors and donors.
Rachael holds a BA Joint Hons in Art History and Fine Art from the University of Plymouth. In her spare time she enjoys analog photography and taking people who wouldn’t normally visit to a museum or gallery.
