Venture Builder
She/Her
Louise is a venture builder at Nesta’s Mission Studio, where she works closely with founders to turn early-stage ideas into scalable, mission-led ventures.
Before joining Nesta, Louise was Co-CEO of Shift, a UK charity focused on building products and ventures for social good. During her time there, she co-founded several social businesses, led multiple venture incubators, and supported dozens of early-stage founders.
With a background in design, Louise has created products for organisations including Google, Vodafone, Zurich, eBay, Mind, UnLtd, UK Youth and the Centre for Ageing Better. Her work spans sectors such as food, mental health, finance and employment.
She holds a BSc in Applied Psychology from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dublin, an accreditation in Design Thinking from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, and a certificate in Nutrition Science from the Stanford Center for Health Education.
Outside of work, you'll likely find her hiking and doting on her dog, Bobby.
