Policy Advisor
Livia works as a policy advisor in the policy team, with a focus on the fairer start mission.
Prior to Nesta, Livia worked in local government as a strategy manager where she helped to develop plans to address the social challenges facing local communities and enable the borough to provide a fair chance for everyone.
Before this, Livia worked in the Department for Education, leading projects to consider how to improve teacher recruitment and retention and to help the workforce to respond and recover from the impacts of Covid-19. She has experience working in HM Treasury, where she negotiated department budgets across two spending review periods, and has also worked in both the Victoria State Government in Australia and the charity sector.
Outside of work, Livia can be found exploring London, listening to audiobooks and trying new hobbies.
