About Nesta

Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.

Lewis joins Nesta as a senior developer with the Centre for Collective Intelligence Design (CCID).

Prior to joining the CCID, Lewis worked at Government Digital Service as a civil servant software developer and tech lead on the One Login for Government programme, building digital identity capabilities for government services.

Over the past 5 years, Lewis set up and ran a technologist community focused on creating opportunities for volunteers to solve problems in public safety. Lewis has recently completed an MSc in Software and Systems Security at the University of Oxford, receiving a distinction and GCHQ certification.

Outside of work, Lewis maintains a technology blog and is a puzzle game and escape room enthusiast.
