Programme and Operations Manager, Centre for Collective Intelligence Design
Joana is the Programme and Operations Manager for CCID.
Joana works closely with the Centre Leadership to shape, structure and plan the Centre’s programme of work and resourcing, helping the team to achieve its ambitious vision and effectively manage a portfolio of diverse initiatives with a sustainable business pipeline.
Before joining Nesta, Joana has a background in programme management and business development in International Development, having worked with different NGOs in Nepal, Berlin and London. Joana holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from University Nova of Lisbon as well as a MSc in International Development from Utrecht University.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
