Content and Communications Manager, Innovation Skills
Isobel worked in the Innovation Skills team as Content and Communications Manager, helping to build Nesta's learning and development offering.
She led on content creation, communications planning and digital development across the Innovation Skills team’s core programmes, including States of Change. Isobel also produced Nesta’s Practice Guide series, which shares the organisation’s practical experience with innovation methods, and co-runs the Nesta Sparks events.
Prior to Nesta, Isobel worked as a journalist for six years covering innovation and creativity in the advertising industry. She spent 18 months in New York as the first US Editor for advertising publication Shots before returning to London to complete an MA at Goldsmiths College, where she focused her studies on the impact of the internet on the media and political communications. Isobel has also worked for consumer trends firm Trendwatching and as a freelance writer and editor.

BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
