Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.
Analyst, a fairer start mission
Hannah worked in Nesta's education team and focused on helping our education system make more effective use of technology and data.
Hannah's programmes applied a variety of Nesta's innovation methods, including commissioning new research, a portfolio of EdTech grants and England's first EdTech testbed in partnership with the Department for Education.
Prior to Nesta, Hannah worked in participatory arts education in the UK and Canada. In London, her work focused on education provision for migrant and refugee communities, using theatre and creative writing to foster confidence, integration and communication skills. In Canada, she delivered creative learning programmes for a local government arts council.
She is a school governor for a primary school in Waltham Forest and a qualified adaptive ski coach, specialising in working with young people with autistic spectrum disorder.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
