Emily Morrison was a researcher within Nesta Challenges.
Emily Morrison was a researcher within Nesta Challenges. She was responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation to help solve some of society's toughest social and environmental problems and exploring where challenge prizes can expedite progress.
Prior to Nesta, Emily spent five years in equity research at a large investment bank, with experience researching the telecommunications sector, food retail sector and most recently in the Sustainable & Thematic Investing team. Emily has experience interacting with a range of innovators, academics, policymakers and investment professionals, and has published several reports on topics including food waste, insect protein and sustainable tourism.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys yoga, musical theatre and performing in a cover band.

BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
