Learning Services Manager
Elena's role involved managing the delivery of evidence masterclasses and working with the Skills team to help build its learning and development.
Elena has a background in managing and delivering capacity building interventions within the international development and humanitarian sectors for UN agencies, international non-governmental organisations and national governments.
She is a practised facilitator and has delivered training in the UK and overseas on topics including training of trainers, monitoring and evaluation, humanitarian coordination and disaster risk reduction. Elena became interested in the use of evidence and research in the design of interventions while evaluating sustainable development projects in Nicaragua.
When not at work, Elena enjoys exploring by going for walks in the British countryside and, where possible, travelling further afield.
