Senior Programme Manager
Ed worked in the Innovation Lab in Nesta, as the Senior Programme Manager for the Open Data Challenge Series, which was run in partnership with the Open Data Institute.
Prior to Nesta Ed worked for the Transparency Team in the Cabinet Office. In his role as Head of High Value Data Strategy he worked to develop the Government’s policy on open data and transparency, in particular in setting up the Open Data User Group and working with government departments to develop a National Information Infrastructure for the UK. Ed has worked on a range of policy areas in his civil service career including Big Society, social exclusion and anti-social behaviour.
