Daniel Kearns

Dan is a Research Assistant at What Works for Children's Social Care, working on the Strengthening Families, Protection Children (SFPC) pilot evaluations.

Dan is a social worker and has previously worked in a child protection assessment team, with looked after children as part of the Lifelong Links project, and most recently for the NHS in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) inpatient unit.

He has a BSc in Social Policy and Criminology from the London School of Economics, after which he trained as a nurse at City University London, and worked on a health research project with older adults in social housing before becoming a social worker.
