Programme Manager, Social Health
Damian worked on Social Movements in Health as well as Nesta's Arts and Health work.
Prior to Nesta, Damian combined two roles as Head of Arts at Cambridge University Hospitals and Director of the London Arts in Health Forum. He has worked in arts and social engagement for 20 years and has a keen interest in the potential of sport, culture and volunteering to influence health and wellbeing. He was a 2016/17 Clore Leadership Fellow and is a trustee of Magic Me Arts, an inter-generational arts charity and Akademi, a South Asian dance company.
Damian is passionate about the role that creativity can play in health and in challenging the status quo.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
