Group Chief People Officer
Ann joins Nesta as Chief People Officer.
Ann has spent the last 5 years at Q5, a boutique consultancy which specialises in building organisational health. As part of the organisation development and culture team, Ann led the culture practice and worked on various culture, organisation development and leadership projects across a variety of sectors but with a focus on the public sector and education.
Prior to consulting, Ann held a series of ‘proper’ jobs within the people functions of private sector organisations. Her most recent role was as Organisation Development Director at News UK where she was responsible for developing and delivering the organisation development strategy, with responsibility for talent and development, reward, talent resourcing, employee engagement, and wellbeing.
Ann started her career at Selfridges and has also worked at Kingfisher and Marks and Spencer where she held various roles in human resources. Ann holds a MSc in Applied Positive and Coaching Psychology, a BA in English Literature and is also a qualified executive coach.
Ann loves living in London with her family, remains an avid fan of fiction, has been known to be a bit crafty and has recently started swimming in Brockwell Lido.
