Assistant Programme Manager, Challenge Works

At Challenge Works, Alexandra is an assistant programme manager for Ofwat’s Water Innovation Fund.
Before joining Nesta, Alexandra worked at King’s College London’s Entrepreneurship Institute, running programmes for students, staff and alumni to develop their entrepreneurial skills and mindset and support early-stage businesses.
Before that, she worked in the book publishing industry, drafting and negotiating author contracts.
Outside of work, Alexandra is learning British Sign Language, enjoys reading, travelling and cooking and can usually be found at park run on a Saturday morning.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
