Intern, sustainable future mission
She/Her
Aisha Camara joins Nesta as an analyst intern in the sustainable future mission.
She recently graduated from the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences at Queen Mary University of London with a BSc in Neuroscience. Her final project looked at the role of immune dysregulation in Alzheimer’s disease. She also researched other neurological conditions like Guillain-Barré syndrome, creating an educational podcast on the topic. She is keen to explore research opportunities in a range of disciplines.
Before joining Nesta, Aisha gained experience in research, education and care. Among her responsibilities, Aisha was responsible for medical administration, maintaining records and collaborative projects.
Outside of work, Aisha enjoys painting and collecting new hobbies, most recently learning to play the kora, a 21-string instrument.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
