We are recruiting for a Knowledge, Learning and Development Coordinator

Overview

Reporting into the Head of Knowledge, Learning and Development, the Knowledge, Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for the core administrative and logistical tasks of the Knowledge, Learning & Development team across the Nesta Group (Nesta and BIT). The role provides crucial support to the Head of K,L&D and the Talent and Development Advisor, enabling them to focus on strategy and delivery. This is a practical, detail-oriented role requiring exceptional organisational skills and a proactive mindset.

Key Accountabilities

Your work will fall into three main areas, with an emphasis on consistency and attention to detail.

  1. Knowledge Management (KM) Operational Support
  • BIT Project Wrap-Up Management: Own and execute the full KM project wrap-up process for BIT projects, ensuring timely and compliant transfer of knowledge to the core repositories.
  • New Starter Process at BIT: Coordinate and lead a Knowledge Management onboarding, ensuring new hires have access to foundational resources.
  • Learning Experience Platform (LXP) Maintenance: Support the Talent and Development Advisor in performing essential maintenance tasks on our LXP and related shared drives, such as resolving content errors and archiving outdated material.
  1. Learning & Development (L&D) Programme Administration & Logistics
  • Event Management & Logistics: Fully manage the administrative delivery of core L&D workshops and events for staff across Nesta and BIT. This includes:
  • Coordinating venue/room bookings.
  • Creating and managing video call links and Slack channels.
  • Sending timely invitations, managing RSVPs, and compiling attendee lists.
  • L&D Content Support: Support the Talent and Development Advisor in the maintenance of the LXP with a focus on the accurate upload, linking, and tagging of digital content.
  • Training Delivery Support: When core duties allow, provide support for live training sessions. This may include coordinating breakout rooms, monitoring chat functions, and assisting with technical setup.
  1. General Team Coordination Support
  • Communication & Reporting Support: Assist the Head of K,L&D with internal and external team communications and the preparation of basic activity reports.
  • Financial Administration Support: Assist the Head of K,L&D by processing and managing routine invoices for external suppliers within the K,L&D budget.

  • You value accuracy and service: You have a strong commitment to accuracy and believe in supporting a positive staff experience across the Nesta Group.

What we offer

Salary: £20,880 (60% FTE of £34,800) plus array of benefits, including health cash plans, dental insurance, the ability to buy and sell annual leave, eyecare vouchers and more

Location: This role is based in Blackfriars, London, hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of two days in the office

Term: Permanent

Hours: This is a 0.6FTE role that can be done across 3, 4 or 5 days per week on a part time basis.
