Nesta Chief Executive Geoff Mulgan was joined in conversation by authors and innovators David M. Gann and Mark Dodgson to discuss their new book “The Playful Entrepreneur: How to Adapt and Thrive in an Uncertain World” published by Yale University Press.

Drawing on in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs and innovators, this book explains why we should incorporate play into work, what play looks like, and how to encourage playfulness in individuals and organisations.

The discussion considered topics such as how can we learn to deal with uncertainty in work, and what pioneers in playful entrepreneurship have in common.
