At this Hot Topics event we looked at the waves of technologies that can interact with our brains and explored potential applications and considerations for the future.

From advanced prosthetics to a revolutionary new treatment for Parkinsons, Brain-Computer Interfaces(BCI) have been central to a recent number of huge medical breakthroughs.

But with companies like Neurosky now producing ‘Brain Sensors for Everybody’, the technology is increasingly moving into the mainstream; entering the realms of gaming, marketing and beyond. This looked at the new wave of technology that can interact with our brains, and explored potential applications and considerations for the future.

Following the event, Emlyn Clay demonstrated the g.tec IntendiX P300 personal speller.
