Learnings from the Future Ready Fund - 19 Oct 2020 14:30 – 19 Oct 2020 15:30

Since 2018, Nesta’s £500k Future Ready Fund has supported ten early-stage, high-potential organisations to scale projects that build social and emotional skills and resilience in 11-18-year-olds. During this virtual webinar we heard from our evaluation partner, the University of Sussex, about what we can learn from the fund.

This webinar followed the upcoming launch of a report from the University of Sussex summarising the learnings and recommendations that have emerged from their evaluation work on the Future Ready Fund. We also heard from some of our grantees as they reflected on what they learned about measuring impact and programme delivery in secondary schools and pupil referral units.

The event was designed for funders, researchers and organisations within the education sector who are interested in the delivery and evaluation of programmes that build social and emotional skills and resilience in young people.

During this event we heard from:

  • Professor Robin Banerjee, Head of School of Psychology, University of Sussex
  • Alice Stott, Voice 21 (Future Ready Fund grantee)
  • Dr Sheila Ross, Foundation for Positive Mental Health (Future Ready Fund grantee)
