The £1 million Early Years Social Action Fund will scale proven social action programmes that help children to achieve developmental milestones by directly supporting parents.
A partnership between Nesta and the Office for Civil Society, the fund will back projects where social action builds the confidence and knowledge of parents and primary carers to support their children to achieve their developmental milestones ahead of their fifth birthday.
The fund will provide four to six grants of between £150,000 and £250,000 - and will include significant non-financial support - to help grow the impact and reach of the best innovations, based in England.
To address any questions ahead of the application process, we held a series of webinars for potential candidates. The webinars were hosted by Lydia Ragoonanan our Senior Programme Manager leading on the fund.
The webinars gave applicants the opportunity to find out more about the purpose of the fund and the process for applying.
To find out more, download the slides from the webinar in the right hand column - or browse the FAQ or Eligibility pages for the fund.
