David joins Nesta as a senior researcher within the Responsible Research Unit.

He is a French native who moved to Cardiff to do his undergraduate degree in social sciences and moved to Edinburgh for his master's degree in Global Environmental Politics. After that, he came back to South Wales to work for Natural Resources Wales.

Prior to working at Nesta, David worked in both operational and evidence roles. In his latest role, he advised teams on research and evaluation methods in a wide range of topics including access to green space, health and wellbeing, grants funding and visitor monitoring. He was also a duty tactical manager on the emergency incident rota, coordinating responses to environmental incidents in South West Wales.

Outside of work, you can find him on his bike cycling down the beach or up mountains, walking his dog through the forests or baking sweet treats for friends and family.
