Theo led on the production of the DIY toolkit, and he now manages a global portfolio of work to support individuals and organisations working in development to build their innovation capacity.

Theo previously worked in Nesta's Innovation Lab as a Programme Manager for the Innovation in Giving Fund.
Before joining Nesta, Theo worked for Zamyn - a cultural communications agency - as corporate development manager and producer for the 2013 Cultural Forum at Tate Modern. He has also worked for BT Global Services as an account manager for Thomson Rueters and in the CSR team managing a 3 year partnership with Unicef.
Theo has an undergraduate degree in International Development with Politics, and a Masters in Sustainable Business from the University of Leeds.
The DIY toolkit is now available in a limited print edition. It contains all the tools and their descriptions, case studies, further background reading, and references.

Human-centred design is based on the use of techniques which communicate, interact, and empathise with the people involved, stimulating them and obtaining an understanding of their needs, desires and experiences.
