What I do

Charlotte is a Programme Manager in the Centre for Challenge Prizes, working on the Inclusive Technology Prize as well as a range of other projects and prizes. She first joined Nesta as Project Coordinator to the Alliance for Useful Evidence.

Biography

Prior to joining Nesta, Charlotte worked for VSO, an international development charity that develops the capacity of local partners and communities through different types of volunteering offers. During her time at VSO, she worked on a variety of projects, many of which were linked to young people. Her varied roles at VSO included running youth programmes in Nigeria and India.

Charlotte holds a First in War Studies BA (Hons) from King's College London and a Distinction in Muslims, Globalisation and the West (MLitt) from the University of Aberdeen.

In her free time, Charlotte can often be found volunteering on community projects or eating brunch. She very much enjoys both activities and, having recently moved south of the river, she's looking forward to finding out what South London has to offer.

We’re working with the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to pilot an ‘inventor’ prize that will inspire and harness the potential of the UK’s home-grown inventors and stimulate user-led innovation.
