What I do

Jackie led our Scotland programmes team.

She worked on a range of innovation programmes in Scotland across Nesta's areas of interest including supporting young people, cultural organisations and the public sector to innovate with technology and open data.

Jackie worked in a range of sectors before joining Nesta- economic development, charity and the University sector where she set up business incubation and digital acceleration programmes.
She is a Trustee of Dundee Contemporary Arts, a world-class centre for the development and exhibition of contemporary art and culture.
Jackie has a degree in English with International Relations from the University of St Andrews and a Diploma in Marketing.
On 12 September 2012, Nesta held the first of its UK road show events in Scotland. I reflected on what I had heard and learned from the day. If you missed it, you can watch the day here. Thanks to the many organisations and people who turned out to support the event- we try and bring together the 'unusual suspects' to work together to support innovation and this is reflected in the day.
