Senior Programme Manager
Adam Price was a Senior Programme Manager in the Innovation Lab, working on public service innovation and innovation spaces. His report, co-authored with Matthew Gatehouse, State of Innovation: Welsh Public Services and the Challenge of Change, was published in May 2013.
Prior to joining Nesta Adam was a Fellow at the Center for International Development at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is a two-term former Member of the House of Commons for Plaid Cymru, the Party of Wales, serving as a prominent member of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee and earning UK-wide recognition as a campaigner from The Spectator and Channel Four. Before entering politics Adam was managing director of a UK policy and economics consultancy and executive director of the Welsh economic development and cultural change agency Menter a Busnes.
A regular documentary presenter on Welsh television and occasional commentator in The Guardian and the Western Mail, his most recent documentary, on the 1984/85 Miners Strike, won a Bronze Medal at the New York Film and Television Festival.
Adam holds a BSc (Econ) from Cardiff University, a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
