Toby is a Senior Consultant at PPL Consulting, working on a range of projects assisting health and social care organisations deliver change.
Toby joined PPL in January 2016 as a Senior Consultant with over six years of consulting experience. At PPL, Toby has worked on a range of projects assisting health and social care organisations deliver change. He project managed the development of a strategy report setting out the challenges and issues facing adult social care in Greater Manchester.
As part of the ‘Realising the Value’ work for Nesta, Toby led the design and development of a toolkit for commissioners to gain insights regarding the likely impact of person- and community-centred approaches in their local area. Toby has also led the analytics work behind the 'Total transformation of care and support: creating the five year forward view for social care’ paper, published by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) in November 2016, and updated in March 2017.
Previously, Toby worked at FTI Consulting, where he delivered a large number of analytical and strategy development projects for a wide range of clients including Liverpool CCG, and the European Commission. Prior to this, he was an Economic Consultant at Oxford Economics.
Toby holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Economics from the London School of Economics and has passed all three levels of the CFA programme.
