Discovery Manager, Discovery Hub

Petra is the discovery manager in the Discovery Hub, Nesta’s in-house strategic foresight function.

Petra leads our employee-led innovation programme, Distributed Discovery. She also oversees the project portfolio and operational health of the Discovery Hub.

Petra joined Nesta in 2017 as the programme manager of Nesta’s flagship event FutureFest, where she co-developed and managed a multifaceted festival programme with household-name speakers and immersive experiences. In her leading events team role, she created the Nesta talks to... events series and contributed to Nesta’s events strategy.

Prior to joining Nesta, Petra worked for the Creative Industries Federation and gained extensive experience in project management.

In her free time, she loves engaging with anything that involves creative movement and she has recently qualified as a yoga instructor.
