What I do
Marina Mkhitaryan is the Lab Lead at Kolba, the Social Innovations Lab of UNDP Armenia. Marina is a development professional with more than 15 years’ experience managing development programmes, media outlets and NGOs. She has a dual degree in Philology and Law from the Yerevan State University. She has also completed a mid-career course on International Law and Legal Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University, US).
Since 2011, Marina has been the Country Coordinator of Armenian and International Social Innovation Camps. She has designed and managed the InfoVillage national network of community-based telecommunication centres. In the Innovations Lab, Marina helps UNDP Armenia to crowdsource solutions for socio-political issues from citizens, to inject innovation into the public sector and to develop the thought leadership role of UNDP in the country through thematic TEDx events, public speaker series and agile research.
